| Harold and Dan Crumley |
Harold (on the left) was born the 17 Aug. 1911. He was nine years old when his mother died. Dan, the oldest, was two years older, born 18 Apr 1909. Harold and Dan stayed in Holbrook with Charles and graduated from high school there. I wonder how it was for them to suddenly have their three younger siblings gone. To my knowledge the adopted children never saw Harold and Dan again as children. Ross had contact with Dan as an adult but I am not aware that Virginia did. Harold came down to Provo from Idaho Falls sometime in the 1980's and had a reunion with Virginia and Ross and their families. Dan and Harold won an award for being the cleanest boys in the troop. (I believe this was when Edythe was alive.)
