Ross Grows Up

Ross was adopted by Willard and Vina Denham of Shumway, Arizona.  His Uncle Virgil writes that "He (Ross) was always a good student and the children all liked Ross.  His teachers always appreciated him since he was always an honest and a hard working boy in all things he undertook to do.  My wife taught school and had Ross in class.  She always appreciated his integrity and honesty and good work."

The school Ross attended as a boy.

Ross attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.  He filled a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Minnesota area where his mother had been raised.  There he met the beautiful Clara Lock Parker who later became his wife.  Ross also served in the military after his mission.  Ross and Clara lived the most part of their life in Provo, Utah where Ross worked in education administration and eventually served on the Utah State School Board.  He held church leadership positions as Bishop, Stake President and Regional Representative.  They had three sons, Paul, Larry and Reid Denham.
